Safiye Otman, Contemporary Artist + Feminist.

Safiye Otman was born in Antalya/Turkey in 1993. He graduated from Akdeniz University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting in 2017. He completed his master's degree at Akdeniz University Fine Arts Institute in 2017 - 2020. He placed in competitions organized by various institutions. His understanding of art and the subjects he deals with in his works are based on women and gender. In order to improve his artistic experience, technique and knowledge, he focused on these issues in his master's thesis as a result of many researches. She uses the female body and its signs as images and plastic elements in her works. In this context, he participated in many group and group exhibitions. He opened 4 personal painting exhibitions between 2019 and 2020. He continues his art life in his individual workshop.
